The Sportsman 2 Big Game Fishing Boat, originally designed by L. J. Rowell and now updated with a new design, is a beautifully detailed model that captures the distinctive style and character of this classic sport fishing vessel. Measuring 33 inches (838mm) in length, the kit has been designed to provide an enjoyable and rewarding building experience for modellers of all abilities.

Manufactured from precision CNC laser- and router-cut 1.5mm and 4mm birch plywood, the kit includes all the timber components required to construct the hull and superstructure, together with laser-engraved decking for an authentic finish. Also included are clear acetate windows, a flying bridge guard rail kit, full-colour illustrated building instructions with step-by-step photographs, and a display boat stand.

A comprehensive fittings pack (Part No. PR815A) plus a flying bridge guard rail (Part No. PR815B), brass pulpit rail kit complete with bending jig and instructions (Part No. PR815C) and Radar Kit (Part No. PR815D) are available separately to add the finishing touches and enhance the overall appearance of the completed model.
