The Sea Urchin Motor Launch is a classic model boat kit originally designed by L. J. Rowell for Aerokits during the 1960s. Measuring 16 inches (406mm) in length, this charming motor launch combines the timeless appeal of the original design with modern CNC manufacturing techniques, providing an enjoyable and rewarding building experience for modellers of all abilities.
Manufactured from precision CNC laser-cut 1.5mm and 3mm plywood, the kit includes all the timber parts required to construct the hull and superstructure. Also included are clear acetate windows, a wooden rudder, laser-lined decking, a full-size building plan, and comprehensive building instructions to guide you through every stage of construction.
A matching fittings pack is available separately in either white metal or high-quality 3D resin, allowing you to add an exceptional level of detail and complete your model with an authentic scale finish.
