Pepsi Skydancer Super Chipmunk Model Aircraft Kit

The Pepsi Skydancer Super Chipmunk recreates one of the most distinctive aerobatic display aircraft ever to grace the airshow circuit. Developed specifically for display flying, the full-size Pepsi Skydancer featured a redesigned rounded rudder, flared engine cowl cheeks and a striking colour scheme that set it apart from Art Scholl’s famous Pennzoil Super Chipmunk while retaining the same smooth, precision aerobatic performance.

Designed as an ideal introduction to large-scale aerobatic models, this impressive aircraft combines predictable handling with outstanding performance. The strong airframe delivers smooth, accurate aerobatics with excellent vertical performance when powered by a 20–35cc petrol engine or equivalent. Large flaps provide superb low-speed control, resulting in gentle, trainer-like landings with no tendency to drop a wing, making the model suitable for a wide range of flying sites and conditions.

Precision CNC and laser-cut balsa and plywood components ensure an accurate and enjoyable build, while the comprehensive accessory pack includes everything required to construct the complete airframe. Each kit is supplied with a high-quality fibreglass engine cowl, fibreglass wheel spats and a clear moulded canopy to faithfully reproduce the appearance of the full-size aircraft.

The model is supplied with a one-piece wing as standard. For modellers who require easier transportation and storage, we also offer the PR527 Super Chipmunk Wing Joining Kit. This optional conversion kit allows the existing one-piece wing to be adapted into two sections, creating a convenient two-piece, joinable wing.

Optional self-adhesive Pepsi Skydancer decal sets are available separately to complete the authentic display finish.
