Obechi is widely used for planking, fuselage sheeting, wing skins and general construction where a lightweight material with a clean finish is required. Easy to cut, sand, shape and glue, it produces an excellent surface ready for painting, covering or varnishing, making it a favourite with both beginners and experienced model makers.
