Perkasa – 1/40 Scale CNC Laser-Cut Model Boat Kit

The Perkasa is an exceptionally detailed 1/40 scale model boat kit and was the final design by the late Dave Milbourn before his passing in March 2021. Representing the culmination of his many years of model boat design experience, this is the most comprehensive model boat kit we have ever produced and has been designed to provide a truly rewarding building experience.

Manufactured using a combination of CNC laser- and router-cut plywood, precision-machined hardwoods, metals, plastics, and 3D-printed components, every part has been designed for accuracy, strength, and ease of assembly.

The kit includes 35 individual deck fitting sets, ranging from ammunition lockers and finely detailed brass handrails to Bofors guns, allowing the finished model to faithfully reproduce the appearance of the full-size vessel. To guide the builder through this highly detailed project, the kit is supplied with three full-colour illustrated instruction manuals, together with a full-size deck plan showing the correct position of every deck fitting.
