The SLEC Hinge Slitting Jig is designed to make fitting hinges easier, more accurate, and consistent during model construction.

This simple but effective tool helps locate the exact centre line of the surface being hinged. Simply place the jig over the control surface or component to be hinged and squeeze gently. The slot in the back of the jig indicates the correct hinge position, which can then be marked using a blade or similar tool before cutting the hinge slot.

By ensuring each hinge is positioned accurately and in a straight line, the Hinge Slitting Jig helps provide smooth and reliable movement of control surfaces.
