Handy Clamps

The SLEC Handy Clamps are one of those workshop essentials you’ll find yourself reaching for time and time again. Designed to act as an extra pair of hands, they’re ideal for holding components securely during building, gluing and assembly.

The clamps are fully adjustable and use rubber band tensioning to provide a firm yet gentle grip on delicate model parts. The moulded support on the shank allows each clamp to stand level and upright on the building board, making them perfect for holding parts in position while adhesive cures. Use two or three together to create simple jigs or fixtures for a wide range of modelling tasks.

Both the medium and large clamps feature a lockable jaw, allowing the opening to be set and maintained for repeatable positioning.

Available in two convenient pack sizes, they’re suitable for model aircraft, boats, cars, railway modelling, general hobby work and light woodworking.
