Genuine Depron 3mm Modelling Foam Sheets

Depron® 3mm is one of the most popular materials used by model builders, particularly for lightweight model aircraft, park flyers and indoor models. Its unique combination of low weight, strength and ease of use has made it the preferred choice for hobbyists for many years.

Unlike balsa wood, Depron has no grain, meaning it will not split during cutting or shaping. Every sheet is manufactured to a consistent density and weight, helping to achieve accurate balance and repeatable performance in your models. The fine closed-cell foam structure cuts cleanly with a sharp knife, sands easily and provides an excellent surface for painting and covering.

This genuine Depron product features a factory-applied surface coating that improves rigidity while retaining its lightweight properties. Supplied in 3mm thickness and finished in grey, it is suitable for a wide variety of modelling projects, from aircraft and gliders to prototypes and lightweight structures.
