The SLEC Flocked Cyano Mylar Hinges provide a quick, clean and secure method of hinging model aircraft control surfaces.
Manufactured from thin Mylar, each hinge is coated with a flocked, glue-absorbing surface that draws thin cyanoacrylate (CA) adhesive through the hinge to create a strong and reliable bond. Simply cut a narrow slot, insert the hinge dry into both surfaces, make the final alignment, then apply a small amount of thin cyano to the centre of the hinge. The adhesive wicks through the flocked coating, producing a secure and durable installation.
Easy to fit and exceptionally reliable, these hinges are ideal for both new builds and repairs.
