Fairey Swordsman – 1/16 Scale CNC Laser-Cut Model Boat Kit

The Fairey Swordsman is an elegant 1/16 scale model boat kit, measuring 25 inches (635mm) in length. Designed by Dave Milbourn and introduced to our range in 2019, this beautifully detailed kit captures the timeless lines of one of Fairey’s most iconic powerboats and has been designed to provide an enjoyable and rewarding building experience.

Manufactured from precision CNC laser- and router-cut Ceiba plywood, the kit incorporates balsa bow blocks to create the distinctive double-curved bow, ensuring both accuracy and ease of construction. Also included are laser-engraved decking, finely machined mahogany handrails with mouldings, a brass pulpit wire complete with a bending jig, a specially designed rudder, clear acetate for the windscreen and windows, vacuum-formed components, Swordsman side and dashboard transfers, full-colour two-part illustrated building instructions, and a display boat stand.

A comprehensive Fittings Pack (Part No. PR818A) is available separately to provide the scale details that bring the finished model to life.
