Pretty 80inch tricycle undercarriage model designed by Nick Ziroli. Traditional wood construction. Suits 23cc petrol engines. Spec: 80 inch 3 piece wing, 53 inch length with 985 sq inches wing area. 15-17 lbs AUW – Scale: 2.66″ = 1′

The Ercoupe is a low wing monoplane first manufactured shortly before WWII. It was designed to be the safest fixed-wing aircraft that aerospace engineering could provide at the time, and the type still enjoys a very faithful following today.

The Belair parts enables you to start building straightaway as all the shaped balsa and plywood parts are laser cut and ready to use, including fuselage sides, bulkheads, formers, wing ribs, braces, tip shapes, tail and fin parts, fin/rudders, mounts and many smaller items although additional wood is required to complete the model. Additional wood and accessories also supplied by Belair. No canopy required as it is made from flat sheet and a template is on the plan.

Two piece wing uses 7/8″ diameter wing joiner for easy transportation.
