SLEC 6.5mm 5-Ply Birch Plywood Sheet is a strong and stable BB/BB grade exterior plywood ideal for structural modelling, CNC routing and woodworking projects. Manufactured from five layers of birch veneer, it provides excellent rigidity and durability for model boats, heavy-duty components and precision projects.
Please note: This plywood is not ideal for laser cutting as it does not use a water-based glue line
SLEC 6.5mm 5-Ply Birch Plywood is a high-quality BB/BB grade exterior plywood offering excellent strength, rigidity and durability for demanding modelling and woodworking applications.
Constructed from five layers of birch veneer, this plywood provides increased stiffness and dimensional stability compared with thinner grades, making it ideal for projects where strength and reliability are important.
This BB/BB grade Birch Plywood features good quality birch faces on both sides, providing a clean and consistent surface finish suitable for visible components, structural parts and precision woodworking applications.
The exterior-grade adhesive provides a strong and durable bond, making this plywood suitable for applications requiring additional resistance and long-term stability.
Please note: This plywood is not ideal for laser cutting as it does not use a water-based glue line. The adhesive used during manufacture can affect laser cutting performance and may produce increased scorching or inconsistent results.
This plywood is suitable for CNC routing, sawing, drilling, sanding and traditional woodworking methods, making it an excellent choice for model boat construction, structural model components, jigs, fixtures and general fabrication projects.
