6.0mm (1/4″) Cross Grain Birch Ply

Our 6.0mm Cross Grain Birch Plywood is a high-quality BB/BB grade birch plywood manufactured in Finland. Designed with the grain running across the shorter length of the sheet, it provides increased strength and stability in the 300mm direction, making it an excellent choice for model making, jigs, templates, cabinetry, furniture components and many CNC machining applications.

Manufactured using a Class 3 exterior-grade phenol glue, this plywood offers excellent strength and durability. While it can be machined using CNC routers and conventional woodworking tools, the phenol resin glue line produces a darker burnt edge when laser cut, making it less suitable for laser cutting than interior-grade plywood.

This 5-ply construction provides an excellent balance of strength, rigidity and dimensional stability while maintaining a smooth, sanded finish suitable for painting, staining, varnishing or leaving natural.
