The 4-Max A2212/13T 1800KV Brushless Motor is a compact and lightweight motor that we recommend for a variety of small electric model aircraft and model boats.
With an 1800KV rating, this motor provides excellent performance from a compact package, making it particularly well suited to smaller models where keeping weight to a minimum is important. We use this motor in some of our own model boats and small electric aircraft, where its combination of size, weight and performance makes it an excellent choice.
The motor is designed for 2–3S LiPo batteries and has a recommended operating voltage range of 6V to 12.6V. It is supplied with 3.5mm gold-plated male bullet connectors already fitted, together with a rear motor mount and prop driver, making it ready for installation.
The motor is also compatible with the SLEC SL901-R Electric Motor Mount, providing a strong and lightweight mounting solution for suitable model aircraft installations.
When used with the supplied 7 × 3.5″ propeller at 11.1V, the motor is capable of approximately 490g (1.08lb) of thrust, with an estimated speed of 52MPH.

The SLEC SL901-R Electric Motor Mount is compatible with the 4-Max A2212/13T 1800KV Brushless Motor and provides a strong and lightweight mounting solution for suitable model aircraft.
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions when installing and operating brushless motors. Ensure that the motor, propeller, ESC and battery are correctly matched and that all electrical connections are secure before use.
Never operate a motor with a propeller fitted unless the model is securely restrained and all necessary safety precautions are in place. Regularly check the motor, wiring, connectors and mounting for signs of wear or damage.
Use an appropriate ESC and battery within the manufacturer’s recommended specifications. Incorrect setup or installation can result in equipment damage or personal injury.
