Our 3.0mm Cross Grain Birch Plywood is manufactured in Finland from high-quality Birch veneers and is ideal for a wide range of modelling, woodworking and engineering applications. Unlike our standard Birch plywood, the grain runs across the shorter length of the sheet, making it particularly useful where additional stiffness or flexibility is required in a specific direction.
This 4-ply Birch plywood is manufactured using a Glue Class 1 (interior grade) adhesive. It produces a smooth, sanded finish suitable for painting, staining and general woodworking. The Class 1 glue line also makes this plywood well suited to laser cutting and CNC machining, producing clean, accurate results.
Manufacturing thickness tolerance is ±10% of the stated thickness. As wood is a natural product, slight bowing or variation in grain and colour may occur.
