This premium-quality plywood is ideal for model making, CNC routing, laser cutting and a wide range of hobby applications where accuracy, consistency and reliability are essential.
Manufactured from quality birch veneers, this BR grade plywood offers a similar appearance and performance to B grade material, with knots limited to a maximum diameter of approximately 8mm. The surface of the material is sanded to a smoother finish than many standard plywood products, giving it an excellent appearance and feel for precision work.
This plywood is bonded using Phenol glue EN314-2 Class 3, making it an exterior-grade plywood suitable for applications requiring increased durability. The material is suitable for laser cutting and CNC machining, providing clean and accurate results for precision components, model parts and custom-cut designs.
When laser cutting exterior-grade plywood, a darker burnt edge may be produced due to the adhesive used in manufacture. This can be removed by light sanding if required. CNC routing provides clean-cut edges and is ideal for producing accurate shapes, profiles and components.
