Premier Laser Ply – 1.0mm Laser Grade Birch Plywood Sheet
Premier Laser Ply is a high-quality 1.0mm flexible 3-ply birch plywood sheet manufactured in Finland, offering excellent consistency, flexibility and a smooth surface finish. Specially suited to laser cutting, this premium-quality plywood is ideal for model making and a wide range of precision applications where accurate cutting and a clean finish are important.
This is BR grade birch plywood, similar in quality and appearance to B grade material, with knots limited to a maximum diameter of approximately 8mm. The thinner plywood construction gives the material a particularly high-quality feel, while the surface is sanded to a smoother finish than that of most standard plywood’s.
Premier Lase Ply uses EN314-2 Class 1 interior-grade glue, making it suitable for interior conditions. Interior-grade glue is generally considered the preferred option for materials intended for laser cutting, helping to produce a suitable cutting surface and finish.
This 3-ply birch plywood is suitable for a wide range of applications including model making, laser cutting, CNC routing, architectural models and other precision hobby projects.
The material is PEFC certified, supporting responsible and sustainable forestry.
Please note that the manufacturing tolerance for the thickness of plywood sheets is the stated thickness ±10%. For example, a 1.0mm plywood sheet may measure between 0.90mm and 1.10mm in thickness.
