0.8mm (1/32″) Cross Grain Birch Ply

Our 0.8mm Cross Grain Birch Plywood is a premium BR/BR grade Finnish birch plywood with the grain running across the shorter length of the sheet. This orientation provides increased strength and stability across the 300mm dimension, making it an excellent choice for model aircraft, model boats, architectural models, laser cutting, CNC machining and precision craft work.

Manufactured using an EN314-2 Class 3 exterior-grade phenol glue, this lightweight 3-ply birch plywood offers excellent dimensional stability with smooth, sanded faces ready for painting, staining or varnishing. It is suitable for CNC routing and laser cutting, although the phenol glue line will produce a darker burnt edge than interior-grade plywood. This can easily be removed with light sanding if required.

Produced from PEFC certified Finnish Birch, this plywood combines strength, accuracy and an attractive finish for both hobbyists and professional makers.
